LinkEase is designed to be useful, but it needs clear guardrails so visitors and publishers can trust it. We do not want the platform to become a source of spam, scams or links that hide their real purpose from the person who clicks.
What is not allowed
Links, QR codes, bio pages and files may not point to or contain:
- Adult or sexual content, including nudity, and immodest or sexualised images of women or men.
- Gambling, betting and lotteries, including casino and sports-betting offers.
- Alcohol, including its sale or promotion.
- Drugs, including their sale or promotion.
- Music and songs: streaming pages (including Spotify and similar services), downloads and music videos.
- Interest-based (riba) lending, including payday loans.
- Scams, phishing, fake investment schemes, fake giveaways and impersonation of people or brands.
- Malware, unwanted downloads and deceptive installers.
- Hate and violence, or content that promotes illegal activity.
- Links that hide the real destination, use misleading wording to force clicks, or redirect people with no context.
- Spam, including mass unsolicited messages that use our links.
Advertising rules
Ads on free plans are limited and reviewed. We do not allow adult, gambling, betting, alcohol, music, interest-based lending, scam or suspicious advertising categories.
What we encourage
Clear page titles, useful descriptions, accurate destinations and public support content. A healthy platform helps visitors understand where they are going, why, and how to leave or get help.
How we enforce
We review reports and use automated checks. A link that breaks these rules is refused when you create it, or disabled if we find it later. Repeated or serious violations lead to closure of the account, without notice. Serious cases may be reported to the relevant authorities or platforms.
Reporting concerns
If a link looks unsafe, use the report page. Include the short link and a brief description. Early reports help us act quickly. For other questions, contact us. Learn how to judge a link yourself in is this short link safe?
