Your own domain makes your short links look like your brand: go.yourshop.com/offer instead of a LinkEase address. This article shows what it is and who can use it.

What you need

  • Plan: Pro, Team, or the 30-day pass on Free
  • Time: 2 minutes to read

What is an own domain?

You pick a name that belongs to you, for example go.yourshop.com, and connect it to LinkEase with one DNS record. After that every short link and bio page you choose to put on it is shown with your name. Visitors never see a LinkEase address, and HTTPS (the padlock) is set up for you automatically.

Which plan includes it?

  • Pro: 1 domain.
  • Team: up to 5 domains.
  • Free: none included, but you can buy the Your own domain pass: $3 for 30 days, which gives you exactly one domain. It ends by itself and never renews on its own. Buying it again while it is active adds 30 more days to what you have left.

The price shown on the Extras page is always the current one.

  1. See how many domains you have

Open Branded Domains in the menu. The counter under the title shows the domains you use and the number your plan allows, for example 0 Domains / 5 on Team.

  1. On Free, get the 30-day pass

Open Extras in the menu, scroll to 30-day passes, and press the 30 days · $3 button on the Your own domain card (1). It shows Not active until you pay. When the payment is confirmed the card says Active until and the date.

Tip. Teams: if you work inside someone else's team, extras and passes are bought by the account owner and apply to the whole team.

Common problems

Can I use my main domain, like yourshop.com?

Use a subdomain such as go.yourshop.com. A main domain usually cannot point to us with a CNAME record, and the Domains page warns you about it.

I do not own a domain yet.

Buy one from any domain seller first, then come back to connect it.
